Cello

The cello is fast becoming as popular as its cousin the violin. To date, the Internet Cello Society boasts a membership of 19,286 members from 84 different countries in the world. Famous composers like J.S. Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Schumann, and Brahms have written major works for instrument. Even in contemporary pop music, we find many instances of cello for instance in music by the Beatles, Aerosmith, and Pink Floyd. There's even a genre known as "cello rock" performed by groups like Apocalyptica and Von Cello. Jazz cellists like Aqua Dixon are also gaining a name for themselves.

Being an essential part of an orchestra, cellists are being increasingly sought after due to their scarcity. A good education in the cello opens many doors and opportunities into many prestigious orchestras and music conservatories around the region. The classes are 45mins per lesson and held once a week.
