Music is a different language.  Like all languages, it helps us to communicate our emotions and feelings.  Like all languages, it has it’s own alphabet and grammar too.   If you wish to read, understand, and maybe even write some music one day and tell it to the world,  Music Theory,  will help you in this quest.   All major academic institutions recognise this and make Music Theory a requirement in advanced Music studies.     Whether you wish to just pass an exam, or know enough to teach others, or better yet, be able to write music of your own, by hand or by computers, we can help you.

Specially Written Books

We use books written by our Principal Rosy specially prepared for the ABRSM Online Music Theory Exam.  This online exam is new and different from the previous paper-based written exams.  Our books are written in this new format that closely resembles the online format.  This gives the candidates the best possible preparation.

Our Curriculum

Every year, we prepare students for the Theory exams held by the major exam boards.   If you wish to take this up,  this is a good place to start.  Whether you’re in a hurry and have only a few months to spare,  or wish to take more time to understand the subject deeper and profoundly,  we have the curriculum to suit your time frame.  You will undergo preparation for board exams from Grade 1 to Grade 8.   The course is separate from the usual music lesson and focuses just on theory.  This way, it is much more effective. You will cover more in a shorter time. Our group classes last 1 hour. Our individual classes last 30-45 mins. We also have a special Express Course. It uses special express methods to cover Grade 1 to Grade 5 in the short span of 6 months !  This is usually held just before an exam and is highly effective whether you are starting from scratch or just want a refresher.
