You may recall hearing the same piece played by different people, but somehow, one sounds better than the other. Why ? Just what makes one pianist sound better ? The difference is due to factors within your control. You can learn how and you can improve to deliver an unforgettable performance, even of the simplest pieces. We teach you how to interpret the piece and identify its dynamics. We show you the playing techniques to raise your performance to a whole new level.
This course is suitable for candidates preparing for formal auditions for international concerts or recitals. It is also suitable for exam candidates who have mastered their pieces mechanically but need the finishing touches of expression, dynamics, and showmanship. It will also help performers establish audience connection and building confidence in a safe and less formal setting.
